As an explorer of creative media, I have a profound love of graphic design. As a practicing designer, graphic design allows me to explore the interplay of visual elements (logos, fonts, color), with visual design theory. With the aid of powerful new technology, I have been able to creatively tinker with unique ideas, fueling a new era of my design journey.

At times, I can be very technical when it comes to the elements & principles of graphic design. Graphic design by its very nature can be both technical & general. The spacing of design elements often necessitates technicality & generality. What I like about graphic design, is that I can choose to be as technical, or general as I want. I can spend hours focusing on the kearning, tracking and leading of a single line of text. I can also play with “messy” design. Simply throwing elements onto the canvas.

That’s why I love graphic design.

P.S. - I don’t have a favorite font, but Decimal & Eames Century Modern are high up on the list!
